I am sure that you have seen speakers made out of wood and speakers made out of plastic. This text is going to talk about whether wood [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] speakers really have a deeper and richer sound than [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] the plastic variety. Yesterday as I was listening to the extraordinary sound coming from my brand new wireless computer speakers, I remember thinking of something that took place many years in the past. When I was a child I remember going to the house of one [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] of my Uncles and checking out his old timey giant wooden speakers hooked up to an amp with steel dials.
Those were the times when the [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] word "stereo" was displayed on amps and boomboxes just like "power steering" was a big selling point for cars. He put on some Rock 'n Roll music for us and it sounded absolutely extraordinary although it was not digital or anything fancy.
Now, from doing some primary research, I have not found much info that backs my idea of wood being a better material apropos better sound [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] quality for speakers. I have found that, according to several sources, drivers are a important factor in determining sound quality. Now, although I know this to be fact, I simply cannot help think about the theory that wood [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] makes some difference. I also love to also think that certain woods would sound better than others. Heavier woods such as Oak would produce deeper quality sound than Pine wood.
A wooden flute sounds much deeper than a plastic one. A metallic flute sounds screechy but a wooden one sounds rich, deep and hollow. I'm wondering if this is true or simply a matter of perception. My buddies would have me accept that foods or a certain shape taste better than others and that candy of a certain color is nicer tasting than [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] others. This has to be perception and not [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] fact.
However , I have found that generally panel resonance and buzzing sound can be reduced if the material of the [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] enclosure is solid. Wood therefore is definitely an applicant for solid [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] and stable enclosure construction. So if it is all in my mind or that wood [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] is actually the perfect material for speakers, I will never know. But what I do know is that it sounds great to me and so all my speakers and sound systems will be made of wood.
Wood of course also looks more classy and elegant. Why would anyone need a shabby plastic design when you may have beautiful and grainy wood speakers? So get yourself some top [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] quality wood grain speakers and watch your room come alive.
